Kristen Doty LMT

Hi!  I'm Kristen, and I'm so excited you're here!

My passion for massage, bodywork, and wellness grew out of my own personal journey. Experiencing physical symptoms firsthand, I discovered the profound power of physical touch, intentional self-care, meditation, boundary setting, power of perspective, and aligning my relationships and life choices with my heart and soul. The greatest lesson from this journey is that life is shaped by our willingness to take ownership and step into our power — creating the joy, lightness, and well-being we seek. These experiences deepened my understanding of how the body and mind communicate.  My work is rooted in a somatic approach, helping people reconnect with their body’s deeper awareness and natural rhythms.

When we experience muscle tension, discomfort, and physical symptoms, it is easy to think something is wrong.  Often, we even get angry with our bodies. Believe it or not, our bodies are absolutely incredible - adapting constantly for survival.  Our tissues often carry important messages if we slow down enough to listen. I believe the body is incredibly wise and always communicating with us.

I see massage and bodywork as a partnership. My role is to listen and support your body through skilled, attentive touch, but healing also happens through your own awareness and care. Together, we create space for your body to release tension, find balance, and move toward homeostasis.

I received my massage therapy training at Saint Paul College and hold a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. I’m a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing study of massage and bodywork modalities.

Self-Care is non-negotiable

Self-care is more than an occasional indulgence — it’s a commitment to tending your whole being. In a world that asks women to give constantly, massage offers a space to pause, soften, and return to yourself. Through intentional touch and compassionate presence, each session supports physical restoration, calming of the mind and the nourishment of the spirit.  I believe true wellness happens when we honor the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Physical tension often carries emotional stress, and when the body relaxes, the nervous system recalibrates, allowing clarity, balance, and resilience to emerge. My work is rooted in a holistic approach that respects your unique story, your boundaries, and your goals.  Whether you come in seeking relief from pain, stress reduction, or simply a quiet moment to reconnect, your time on the table is an investment in sustainable well-being.  Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s foundational.
